A United Nations aircraft has disappeared over the nuclear wasteland of former Iran.

The nuclear bombardment that wiped out close to 90% of it’s population, has left the desolate wasteland with pockets of people still living in lesser contaminated zones.

The UN regularly drop food, water and medicine in an attempt to help the remaining survivors.

Major Janice Mackie, head of the UN operation in the area made a brief statement confirming that a transporter with seven crew had disappeared near the former capital of Tehran. Due to the level of radiation in the area, locating the plane will prove difficult, and it is unlikely the crew will survive the levels of radiation in the area.

Major Mackie offered sympathy to the friends and family of the crew.

This is the seventh loss of a transporter in the area in eighteen months.
